Here are a few shots of my 180 finally in my house and some pics of my nearly ready DIY 30 gallon sump with a odyssea 100 pump, and an odyssea 1400 water pump(i think) The media in the filter is 3 stages... The first level is some sponges, the next is i'm getting some pink plastic Bio-ball trye thing to hold all the bacteria and the final is more sponges. I'm also thinking of running either and FX5 or an AC100 on it. I'm planning of having SA/CA set up with white sand and some nice pieces of driftwood that i'm looking at from some helpful members here... In one pic thats my 4'9" brother next to the tank.

Looks good bro!! How many gph does the pump flow?

you need a prefilter pad as the first stage as your filtration. and you used actual cleaning sponges lol, ok, i would take those out and replace with pot scrubbers. maybe leave a tray open for some chemical filtration.

What are pot scrubbers? My friend is usind this exact thing and the water is in tip top shape... What is a pre-filter pad also?
