So did a little more remodeling today and I think I've finally got it. Thoughts?

I like but u could probably. Add a midwater fish like a fire mouth or bonsai flowerhorn

Nice scape but it will look better if you use natural gravel instead of blue gravel
Also, look like you're using med size gravel and quite thick (look like 3 inches thick), you will have hard time with maintain when waste start sink through gravel and become nitrate factory.

Deadliestviper7 well I have a few different types of gourami in there. A lot of the guys were hiding in plants. Was water change day today as well but they usually are scattered thru mid 3 blues 2 pearl and 2 sunsets

Yuki Rihwa well I try to do at least 1 50% a week and vacuum the gravel. Hopefully that's enough I wish I had added some under gravel filter setup. But any ideas besides thinning out the gravel a bit?

Also thought about setting up a under gravel jet system. But I'm not quite sure how that would turn out with the live plants?
