180 Gallon catfish

Hello MFK,

I'm looking for a predatory catfish to go into a 180-gallon tank. In the tank, I have oscar and a Florida gar.

Bullhead.
Mystus leucophasis.

Do you want active or don't care? Hider or not? For life or as a grow-out?

I don't really mind if they don't move much but I would need a more aggressive feeder to be able to get food. I would rather they did not hide. I also have a problem where my oscar kills anything thin.

A lot depends on the tank's furniture, fish sizes, etc. but in general, I'd say the last three choices out of the listed so far should work.

Add to the list bolt cat.
And giraffes, whilst not predatory as such would go well with oscars and get food if pellets. May need a mid size version though 12-18”.
There are a few hemibagrus too if you knew which you could get as some may grow too large eventually.
