I made a post a few days ago about trading for a 180 gallon. I traded my 75 Gallon even up for a 180 Gallon predrilled aquarium. The deal was he would let me setup the 180 gallon check for leaks and transfer over my two large fish. Since I had about a week to do all this when I went to change water in my tanks I cleaned out my other tanks sponge filters into buckets as well as the partial water change from my 75 gallon tank into buckets. I also used the 75 gallons gravel and both of the filters I had on it. Plus I used about 80% of the water from the 75 Gallon tank.

I did my water test today to see how my levels were after the change.
PH 7.0
Nitrite 0 ppm
Nitrate 10ppm
Ammonia 0ppm

I am pretty happy with test considering the circumstance. The big tank only has two fish in there now my large oscar and pleco both around 12-14 inches.
I use a liquid test kit when should I check my levels again.
Here are some pictures of the new tanksmates now I just have to figure out how to get more fish in the tank without him beating them up.

Any input on level tests as well as possibly how to get fish into the tank without the oscar beating them up would be great.

Nice tank needs more monsters tho lol

I'd check water parameters daily until you're sure everything's ok. Good score by the way.
