My 125 gallon stand from a local box pet store is falling apart. I found a cabinet stand for a 180 on Craigslist. Would this work?

Welcome aboard

Stands are normally built for aquariums to sit supported on the edges. I personally would look for a solid wood stand built for the 125. If you are handy enough you could build a stand for the 125 gallon.
