hello, i just got my DAS 180G up and running, i am runing 1100gph through the tank with an ocean clear 354 canister under the tank.

this is what i am thinking for a stock list,

these fish are in the tank right now.
small mouth bass
clown knife (might have to get rid of him if he gets to big)
green terror
fire mouth
red jewel
salvin
red empress (donno, some type of african with a bright blue head)

fish i want to get:
ropefish (reedfish)
ornate bicher
albino bicher
fire eel
vampire pleco l-07
royal pleco l-27
common pleco
some more africans

fish that i would like but would like peoples thoughts on, if you have any experience with these fish let me know what you think PLEASE!

hystrix peru stingray (i heard my knife will eat out the eyes, but i dont know how true that is, i hear of alot of people with rays and knifes, let me know tho!)
oscar, need something for the top of my tank!
any other odball fish that you would suggest

so I am not sure what I am going to go with yet, any ideas will be looked at!

soo what do you think?

Thanks in advance

i think what you have there is going to be enough..looks like its going to be real tight in there.then what kind of decor are you going with, thats going to take up space too....good luck and show a pic soon..

You may want to think about removing the bass. He's likely to eat any smaller fish that he can fit in his mouth. Especially the "worm-like" fish like the ropefish and bichirs.

You can't have a ray if you have plecos, and it's bad husbandry to keep africans with CA/SA's but that's just IMO. I'll let others give their opinions though.

i am going to have alot of plastic plants, also i will have a 15inch peice of driftwood in there. i did have the small mouth bass with a tire track eel before he had a sudden case of ich. the bass is only about 3" long. so should i go with the stingray or no? would it work?

the tank will be pretty heavily planted.

let me know

thanks-
zach

ohh yea, a quick pic...

with stingrays, you dont want "heavily planted" tanks. its only a 180 so they need as much of that ground space as possible to swim around. if u want rays to live hapily, go with calm placid fish. rays with other rays, dats, bichirs, aros, gars. no plecos, no pbass
