I would like to preface by saying that I am not new to fishkeeping, just new to the forum. Anyways,I have a 180 gallon aquarium that has been set up for a few months now that feels a little empty.
The tank specs:
wet dry filter w. 1400gph pump
pond uv sterilizer
purigen in sump filter
tank is kept @ 82 degrees with a 80% w/c once a week
2 600gph powerheads on either side of the tank
1 fluval 306 that I had laying around for mechanical filtration
So far I have 6x angels(@3" each) and 1x sailfin gibbiceps pleco(@10")
I was planning on adding some other south american themed fish since I have somewhat of a loose biotope going on and the tank is heavily stained from the driftwood I have.
My idea was:
1x pleco
6x angelfish
1x severum
1x bgk
6x keyhole cichlids
Does this sound like good stocking levels? I want my fish to be able to reach their maximum potential which is why I bumped up the temperature for faster growing, etc. Would I be able to potentially add more keyholes or some other large SA fish? ty in advance
