So I have bought a 180 gallon tank but I recently noticed the left side glass where the side and front panel connects it isn’t completely flush. Should I be worried about the side coming off or a leak? I posted a picture along with this showing what I’m talking about. The only reason I haven’t freaked out is I see there is a little silicone outside the tank as if it was supposed to be there.

I can see silicone on the inside. My tank isn’t perfectly flush with all sides either. Don’t think it’s anything to worry about.

It looks like you have a solid seam on most of the panel, you're just missing about 1/16" of seal. It was most likely an error in measurement when cutting the glass. Nothing to worry about too much imo. To be safe I would measure the overhang while empty, then check it periodically when filled to make sure you're not losing any more, but you'll be able to see the seam coming apart too if that's the case.

Okay thank you guys. I have been checking it for weeks now and it seems so stay solid in place. I put some epoxy on the outside just for peace of mind but will keep checking on the tank!
