Very nice! gotta love the uvs. Did you have a nitrate problem causing the algae or is your water high in silicates/phosphates? I assume the tank gets a lot of light also

thanks guys... im pretty sure that the cause of the green water was from phosphates in my tap water on top of the tank being near a window lol...but soon i think im ganna invest in a RODI water filter to get rid of the phosphates in the tap water also because i want to turn one of my saltwater tanks into a reef tank ...
 
Nitraghosts or nitragons (ion exchange resins) take phosphates out of tap water and nitrate at same time but the speed of refil and recharging is a pain.

Rowaphos is a good product and can be added to the sump or simple reactor.
