Aggression is minimal. The texas probably rules the tank. Nothing in the tank pays any attention to the ray.

The substrate is sand I collected from a creek. I rinsed it, sifted it, dryed it at 300 degrees in the oven, then sifted it again. Its been in there for a year. Works great and I like the look.
