i went to a place called byerlys in columbus and ask how much a 180 gallon they said close to 500 for just the tank because im gonna build a stand and i was wondern if thats a good deal and i was wondering if i put a pair of oscars in it what else could go in it like black ghost and maybe a needle nose gar and just need some advice

but i cant run up there and get it i dont have my licence yet but what do you think about the fish

About the fish. You really couldn't put much with the oscars once they stared to breed, if that is what you are going for? I don't know about a BGK or a needle nose gar, I think an oscar may give a shot in eating them, unless the BGK is about 12in.
If you don't plan on spawning them. There are many options. Pretty much anything that wont beat on them, and anthing the oscars won't consider food.
When I had my oscar, he was in with a red pike, severum, pleco, and a jag.

i was down i kentucky yesturday to visit my uncle and but i didnt get to go to any fish stores but my uncle has a 4000 gallon pond with 30 koi but yeah ive been to like 5 difrent stores and thats the lowest price for a 180
Sounds like a deal to me. I just priced a 180 tank and stand yesterday $1100.....$750 for the tank and $350 for the stand.
