180 re-stocking

I've decided to restock my 180 galling tank. Right now its bein ran with a fluval FX5. It has sand substrate and lots of lava rock. I was wondering what i could put in it. I was the aggressive SA/CA cichlid set up or maybe a afican set up. Help me out with some ideas and examples of your 180 set ups please:)
 
Go PBass or some other kind of preds...
 
i would go with dat! they are sweet.
 
Polypterus, Royal clown knife & hoplarchus psittacus.
 
Is this the final tank stage or is a plan for a bigger tank? If this is the final tank, dont consider fish that grow more then 2 foot.
 
^ I agree, you definitely need poly's.
Don't do pbass though, they'll get too big.

Then you need some fish for the upper and middle sections of your tank-
how about a florida/spotted gar and a knife (clown or black ghost)
Maybe even an arowana (not silver, it will get too big)

the gar gets bigger then the Pbass and cant bend to safe its life, so I would get the Pbass over the gar...
 
yea i've always wanted some bass, gars and arrows... i'm not sure if this is my final tank. I want to get a bigger tank within the next year or two but seeing as i'm only 14 the decision rest uppon my parents:irked:
