You know putting them in is going to be a lost cause? You'll never see them again. They are better off in a 10 gallon with some nano fish. Also a larger fish like the BGK would snack on them.

I'm aware they enjoy hiding. I picked them up with the hopes they'd live long enough to reach full size, and potentially snack on some of the pest snails in the tank. If they become a snack eventually, then so be it lol.

At this time my BGK is only 3" long, so at the rate the fish will grow they shouldn't be edible for him for at least a year or two. The Ropefish could be another issue, but they will be the last thing I add as I fear the only way I'll find them is adult / mature sized.
