180 STOCKING IDEAS!!!

HEY EVERYONE! I am looking to get a 180 soon and I want to know what are good ideas to put in there...

Can Rays fit?
 
Oh yeh the dimensions are 180 Gal. Wide 72 x 24 x 25 $480 is that a good deal?

I might consider buying from petland discounts because they are a bit cheaper and i dont need to pay for shipping.
 
I have 5 rays in my 180 right now. But not for long... I am upgrading for them to have a lower side for easier hand feedings.

480 isn't bad I paid 1000 for my complete setup but it was also used, so 480 for I'm guessing only the tank isn't bad at all.
 
As far as I know, most of those amazonian rays get too big diameter wise to fit, but a 180g with those dimensions makes a good CA/SA tank IMO

That's what I did anyways...;)
 
oh i see, I want to have a pair of rays, mixed in with a few dats. Is that possible?

Suggestion anything else?
 
Also, do you think I could add in a synodontis i ahve right now? Its small but I have 2 1inch dats and 1 synodontis living together

get 2 hystrix rays, some dats and your synodontis...

shud be a fun mix

maybe a polypterus for fun...
 
hystrix rays, you cant tell their gender can you?

Will the ray try to eat the synodontis?
