Cleveland, Oh.
currently building a stand for my 180 tank frame complete. Ok here my idea i would like to stock it with one of each. texas, green terror, jaguar, and 2 frontosa (i love their markings) and of course a pleco. haven't decided on which pleco yet. My concern is for the frontosa i know they're rather shy. and don't even go you shouldn't mix S.A. with African cichlids to many people do it. tell me what you think Thanks

sounds alright to me, sorry but not a fan of the fronts with them but u can still get away with it, i reckon you could fit a few more in if you wanted

I'd have to disagree. Frontosas are slow moving, docile fish and in 99.9% of cases would not be able to cope with any of the other fish you mentioned. Anything's possible but I reckon if you try this combination you will be destined to fail

I dont think the Front's are a good idea.....will most likely get bullied badly. Most people who keep them with CA/SA's do it in overstocked tanks where the aggression is minimal, therefore getting away with it.

Its an expensive punching bag for you other fish.

thanks for everyones input frontosa are out. besides a jaguar, green terror, texas what else should i put in this tank? Apperiate all inputs. Thanks

Agree with everyone on the fronts, what about a salvini if you're going with CA mostly.
