In the fish section LOL
I want to know if i can add anything to this tank...

I have currently

1 14" oscar
JD pair male is 10" female around 6"
2 blood parrots 9 inches
1 butti 5 inches he will be moved into a 120 if he has to be

thats it..

The tank is a 180 with 2 fx5 and 1 ac 110 and an emp 400

to me this tanks a little on the light side compared to some of the tanks i have seen here

any colorful fish i could add mabey a jag? or something else idk opinions expected

yeah just stay away from the real aggro cichlids like amphilophus and black nasty or flowerhorns or convicts.

To me jack dempseys have always been very passive. Mine was the second biggest in my tank and he always hid. He got harasssed by (all smaller than him) nicaraguense, convicts, severums, texas, green terrors and even a blood parrot with 1 eye).

I would go with severums, green terrors, nics, firemouths, etc. Sometings that can hold its own but isn't going to start trouble (like texas or red devils and such).

A jag will probably work because the tank is so big, in fact most aggro cichlids might still work, but there is just always that chance of them going ape***** and killing everything at the drop of a hat. I don't know if you want to take that chance.

Get a calmer species of Vieja, IMO. V. regani is nice, but i seem to be the only one who can find them. Guttalatus is also a good choice. You may need to ditch the butti.

Jags, in a 180, i wouldnt i had to pull my jag out of a 125 because he was terrizing every fish, he in a 75 with a pair of convicts for which i had to remove, jagz are me if there not brought up with other, very terrioral
