ok so about a month ago i aquired to 180 gallon tanks that oth have cracks in the glass, i plan on removing glass from one tank to repair the other which shouldn't be to hard just need to find the time to do it. but ive been thinkin i don't want to waste the rest of the glass so would it be possable to have the glass cut pass the cracks to make it five feet and then order new 4 foot section to make it wider for ray?? could it be done with plywood and have 2 sides glass to make a corner and the rest ply? would the 1/2" glass hold that kind of weight? i wouldn't be making i any taller just cutting the lenth down and makeing it wider. whats everyones opoinion im sorry if it doesn't make any sense
