DALLAS TEXAS
Hey guys well i had my 180 in the diy fix up. I lost that thread and figured the pictures should go here. The peacock pass is off live!!! Woot. I did lose one to starving which i feel horrible about but i just couldn't give up. I bought some extra fish to help teach the peacock to eat floating dead stuff. My filtration is diy, rubbermaid tub and pvc overflow. The texas is still recovering from SERIOUS battle wounds. I think they made him less angry , so now he has buddies.

Jaguar
Red texas
Arowana
Red terror
Pleco
Peacock bass

Enjoy guys.

I really like the look of the driftwood in the tank. careful the texas doesn't become a bully and beat up on the bass or arowana, they seem significantly smaller

here is the diy part.

He doesnt bother them because he recently just got his butt kicked really bad. He's finally starting to eat again. The arowana is actually the bully of the tank. He's got aggression and personality like no arowana ive even seen. He's awsome, the texas tries to break up all the little scuffles lol.

Demensions are 72x18x32

Its a tall 180 SHOW tank. It stands 7ft tall on the stand. Very beautiful sight , but a PIA to clean!!!

Looks great but what happens when the arowana grows. I am not an expert but isnt that tank to small to house one? If not i might think about getting one for my 220 tall.

I feel your pain, my tank is 170 tall, same dims as yours but only 30" instead of 32" tall. Cleaning is a pain, re-anchoring plants is a big pain.
