180g African Cichlids and Polypterus

I currently have a 180g setup, mainly african cichlids (Frontosa mostly) and i have an 8" Ornate bichir in there as well. I simply love polypterus and i was thinking of adding 2 or 3 more. Does anyone see a problem with this? Perhaps in the long run they would outgrow the tank and i would need to setup a 2nd system, but other than that does anyone have any comments?

Your only problem I see would be finding similar sized 7-9'' bichirs and since ornates reach 18-24'' in captivity you might well consdier a second tank for them -Anne

i was just wondering how your bichir gets along with the cichlids...
could i possibly but a sengal with a. cichlids?

ornates grows big, if you want to get a couple more, pick similar size as what you got, because if it will fit in your ornates mouth there is a high chance that it will be eaten
