well i got the fish buying bug again after buying my festaes the other day so i decided to turn my 5' x 2.5' x 2' into a community tank.

stocklist - 2 festae, 2 cuban, 1 jack dempsey, 1 texas, 1 salvini.
+ various pleocs and catfish (thinking of adding clown loaches also
all fish range from 1.5" to 2.5"

PS: is it just me or is the texas a bit oddly shaped? comments?

The tank looks awesome. Whats the background?

I also like the setup, and the background looks cool whatever it is. I wouldn't mind using that on my next aquarium.

I think the Texas Cichlid will get deeper bodied with age.

Beautiful Red Terrors. Nice setup.

thanks everyone, the background is simply from a cardboard box that i cut to shape and spraypainted 2 pac car paint. i like the corrugated look that it gives and the reflection on the water looks cool to.

hopefully the texas grows into a nice shape. they are all eating like pigs and there's not too much aggression between them... yet :)

That jd will be beautiful when it grows out

The texas looks pretty normal for that size it will beef up in no time.... Very nice fish man all the best to ya!
