Hello, I am currently in the process of setting up a 180g Tang tank. The tank has been drilled in the top right corner, looks to be 1in with 3/4 in pipework coming from the fittings. My question is how big of a return pump will work? Also in the middle top of the tank it has been drilled but patched, if I need more flow I can take off the patch. It's a 72x24x24.

I have been reading that 5x-8x turnover rate is what to aim for? So any recommendations on a 1000+ pump for someone on a budget? I recieved a Rio 2100, but have read the reviews on them... I don't think I would buy one, let alone run a used on in my tank. So I know the overflow is capable of handling at least 600gph if this Rio is actually out putting that.

Plan to have 6 - 8 Frontosa, 6-8 Calvus, and maybe a few odd ball Tangs in there. Using an old 55g as a sump.

Any advice or ideas would greatly be appreciated.
