So I found a 180g for sale. Tank/stand 600$. How much would it cost to buy light fixtures for the top? Im goign to try to talk him down since it sjsut tnak and stand.

I use two of these fixtures on my 6 foot 150g:

they are well made with full polished aluminum insides for max. brightness.
they would work very well on a 180g too. I did replace the bulbs with Hagen Powerglos rather than the more pinkish Allglass lights that come with it, but some people love that look. you will have to see what you like.

I would go two 36" double strips for even lighting. that way you avoid darker ends.
the other thing is that you have to be careful: many 30" fixtures do not take a 30" bulb, but a 24" bulb.
