OK, just a few questions. When the time comes to get my 180, I am going to want a reef ready with overflow, right? I plan on running off an appropriate sized wet/dry. I work at Absolutely Fish in Clifton, NJ, so we stock some pretty kickass filters. I'm headed in the right direction right? Then, I was thinking of running my heaters inside of the wet/dry to be worry free from heater burns and such. If someone could clarify that, that would be awesome.

Now, rather than whoring up the forums, I figure I'll post all my questions in one thread. So, I've been contemplating some tankmates. Here is a tentative list:
-M.Tigrinus
-1-3 D.Pulcher
-P.E.Endlicheri
-Arowana (black or saratoga)
-ray (motoro most likely)
-Juruense

That's about all I can come up with. I don't want to overdo it, so I'm trying to focus on more rare and exotic fish, having fewer of them. ANyone see a problem with what's listed?

The catfish are going to outgrow the 180g within 2 years, and will need a tank that is 36" wide by 8 feet long. The arowana will need a 240g within 2 years. The ray will drop dead from the massive nitrates created by the big fish unless you do 2 or more 70% water changes every week, in 1 year from now. This is all assuming you get these fish around 4-5" size

If you stick with the 3 datnoids, ray, and endli--and ditch everything else-- you will be ok.
