180G stocking help

im currently planning to get a 180gallon tank what are some ideas? i want some predators maybe like a gar or something but it cant be the only fish in the tank itself

How about a schoal of Piranha? Or a few smaller Peacock Bass?

Is this your only tank? Do you plan to ever upgrade? If so Id get a motoro stingray and an arrowana and start growing now... Also a gar would get along with those fish.

Can't have piranha in cali.

Not sure about gar either, but I don't believe you can own any fish in the lepisosteidae family.

Could do a few lima shovelnose cats, with some tinfoil barbs and....some top dwelling fish?
