180gal filteration

ok people i may be getting a 180 with 2 over flows this friday i would like 2 know what type of filteration would be eff.:naughty: please give me your insight o yea and i think i want 2 try sand o yea i want 2 use it for freash water but i think it use 2 be used 4 salt water if that matters:confused:
 
Since you already have the overflows built in... I would definately go with a sump. For that size tank I would probably build one out of 55 gallon tank.
 
i dont know how to build a sump but i did see 1 for sale on craiglist 4 $150 and he says it works up 2 1300gals is that a good deal?
 
If I were you I would just build the sump myself. Its easey, cheap and theres a stickey here that gives you step by step instructions, with pics very detailed. I used it and made a nice sump from an old 55 gal. I would not pay that for a sump, but thats me!

that price is with the pump also a lilttle giant i believe it was and do you know exactly where the stickey is??????????????
 
I used that to make a sump, it was pretty easey and fun... If you like that sort of thing. I do I love to make stuff. Anyway if the price of the pump is included in that Thats not a bad price at all! Its up to you but I would still make my own. If you already have a 55 gal. it would be cheaper. If not go for the Creigslist one! Good luck
