I don't know your work schedule. For awhile, I thought you didn't work since you would go pick up tank in the middle of the day. I might pick this UV this Friday if it's still available. First I need to calculate the operation cost to operate this in a year vs a 9 watt. Need to find out what's the cost per KWH in my area.

Use this one on your 100 gals, and move the 9 watts to your 75 gals. A night light is already 4 watts, so 9 watts is nothing to compare with those accesories you run on a daily basic. Perhaps, cutting back on internet surfing will help you to balance the difference, and save you some buck to pay the electric bill

An 18 watt will cost EXACTLY as much to run as a 9 watt!

18 watts a day x 30 days is 12.96 kilowatts. Electricity is way less than 20 cents a kilowatt! If it was 20 cents a kilowatt the difference is only $1.30 a month! Are you sure you can afford the extra $1.30??? J/K!!!!
