?
I was considering buying myself a bichir shortly but was a bit worried it would end up being tucker for my tsn. My tsn is pushin 19'', does anyone keep bichirs with big cats? What would be the minimum size i could keep?

mate i was wondering the exsact same thing,,,i have an 8inch birchir and just brought a 3-4inch tsn,,,,,so i will be waiting also to see,,at the moment its fine but i dont think it will last forever,,i might be luckier as my birchirs 8inchs and my tsn is 3-4inch

bad idea mate seems pretty much like that to me
TSNs try to swallow anything and everything and a bottom dweller might be like a gift wrapped meal to a TSN
and it might be bad for the TSN too considering the polys finlets
i wouldn't try that for sure

I would say no... It won't take long for him to be lunch..:(

I would do it, ive got a 10" Ornate bichir with a 10" TSN no probs but expecting it with time
your tsn will grow faster the the ornate and will eat it at some point
i tried didnt pan out, you will loss your bichir and maybe the tsn at the same time

I had a 20" tsn with a 12" lap and a 16" ornate with no problems. I am sure the tsn would have gotten too big for the polys at some point.

if you can find a fully grown congicus or something, it might be okay for a while, but probably not forever.
