I am planing to get a 190 gallon tank, but it is enough space for some cichla?

And if they will grow out the tank, how long can I keep them in a 190gal then?

depends on what species you want to keep. Ocellaris/Monocolus/Orinocensis would all three be candidates. It comes down to what is the footprint of your tank also (length/width)

Those would fit, along with kelberi/intermedia. But, if you bought any of the larger growing species I suggest to get atleast a 3 foot wide tank.

youd be fine for life imo with kelbs and interms, a few years with monos/ocells/orinos etc.. (depending on how many) if you go the tem/pinima/azul route id go at least 3ft wide..

you will be fine for life for all the smaller species.
BUT 2 foot width is crapy.
i'd say at least 2.5 for a good life.

Thanks for the help, anyone who know how many of the smaller species I can have for life?
