Can I put any type of pike in with 6 clown loaches and a rainbow "shark".
If I can't I'll find a different fish

Yes but how big are your fish? You could try a pike from the saxatillis group like sveni

Most pikes are display conspecific aggression or aggression towards other pikes. Get a pike that is comparable in size to your current fish and you shouldnt have a problem. But keep an eye on them Cichlid keeping is hit or miss with compatibility.

id say only a dwarf pike, the loaches will get big enough to stay with a pike but id be worried about the rainbow shark. its says its hit or miss and really depends on the sizes. if its 4 inches now and u throw in a full grown pike, could be trouble. if it gets to 6 inches (max size) when pike gets to max size it might be alright. also make sure to go with a pike from the saxatilis genus or go for a dwarf pike.
