I'm thinking of getting a fish tank. What is the best fish to get for a freshwater 5gal. tank?

Anyway, White Clouds, Mosquitofish, Rosy Reds (for coolwater)
with heater: Neon Tetras, Endler's naughty Guppies, Honey Gourami, various other small Characins. Or, according to the LFS, Pacu
Betta splendens is apparently not such a great 5gal fish.

or get ONE female Guppy. Chances are it will be pregnant from the dealer's tank, and you can keep the best fry and donate the rest to the LFS or the Livebearer breeding manager.
Emily, we could find out which day WOP stocks and adopt a female feeder Guppy, because theyre either Endler's or wild-variety Guppies.

Rosy reds are not good fish for a 5gal IMO. WCMM could work out in 5gal but they are schooling fish which require more space.

i have a 5 gallon also i had a ct betta in it till my female green swordtail started giving birth so i had to put the fry in it and now i have at least 12 fry in it
