My father told me that when he was in the hobby 'back in the day' a 55 gal was considered a big tank.

Most members here would consider a 55 on the small side of the spectrum.

Yeah, i thought a 55 was a monster tank till I got on here. Then I had to start upgrading as soon as possible.

10g has been a standard for a very long time. Most people wouldn't think of them as 'big' really, unless the LFS person selling them an Oscar asks what size tank they have. Then a 10g is huge baby.

Hard part was cleaning it for me because i was like 6-7 years old, it was heavy and was hard cleaning it.
