1st ornate bichir

Hello All,

Just got my first Ornate Bichir! Any suggestions for things to feed him and tank set up for a happy fish? Please let me know, thank you,

Depends on the size really. Small bichirs enjoy shrimp pellets and frozen blood worms. Larger ones sinking carnivore pellets and market shrimp.

mine only eats worms and live... mostly small goldies and rosies....bastard wont touch f/d krill or pellets.....

thanks for the help, he's been chasing the feeder ghost shrimp i put in there and seems to like the brine shrimp so far... i plan on getting him so feeder guppies, although i don't like bring live feeders into my tanks because of disease

I feed mine a little bit of every thing but he seems to like the roses and the beef hart the most.

mines eat mealworm,blood worm,superworm,black worms and thats it O_O
