How long can honestly keep him in a 75 gallon 4’ long 18” wide tank by himself before I upgrade to a 300 gallon. I know it will be sooner rather than later. He’s 2 inches long, Aqua clear 110 with sponge and 2 layers of bio max, 50% water change on Wednesday and 30 percent on Sunday.

You would want to upgrade by the time he hits 8 to 10 inch, which could be six months to a year. Are you sure its a male, dovii are hard to sex at that size.
