I went cheap last year and bought 4 ViaAqua 300w heaters and they all died. Looking for 2-3 300w or higher heaters at a reasonable cost. Amazon usually has the Eheim Jager 300w for $24.99 shipped, but haven't seen them on that sale since January.

Let me know what you have - if you have any or if you know of any good buys.

*Also looking for leads on Black Color/Spectra Quartz Sand or Black Blasting Sand that is safe for eartheaters. Would like to buy some locally. Please let me know if you know of any local leads.

Drs. Foster and Smith has them for $24.99 and free shipping on order over $49. So buy two and get free shipping. I love these heaters but hate how freaking long they are, they don't fit in my sump.

When did they become EHEIM Jager instead of Ebo Jager?
