Hey Sup peeps I'm new to the bichir scene. I was wondering is it normal to have 2 Senegal bichir tail and 3/4 of the body pinkish red? When I bought them from petsmart they didn't have that color. Thanks and any insight is appreciated.

Thanks peeps. When I got them they were about 2" I had them for about a month now they are pretty thick and they eat whatever my jar doesn't(aro sticks, shrimp) and yah the light is not bad, it came with my tank.
How long does the color stay because when I got them when they were tan/white, but now they have dark markings and when it gets to 3/4 of the body to the tip of the tail it's like pinkish red. It's pretty cool though.
