I have about 30 shrimp in a 2.5g planted tank with a 25w heater and an airstone going.
The tank is loaded with java moss. And by loaded I mean wall to wall with java moss! Also has some java ferns, and a couple of c. wendtii.
Do you think the plants alone are enough to keep nitrites down in the tank with weekly water changes, and shrimp only get fed a tiny amount every two to three days.
thoughts or should I just add a small sponge filter..
