I got stuck with two 6" oscars today and i have nowhere to put them. I have a 55g PVC drum i use to breed guppies in warmer months. Would the 2 oscars make it in 50 gallons of water with an air pump and heater for 3 days?

most of the things i got in the 180 would get killed or eaten. Dont want to risk my fish over these

I get them and they are over 11"! they surely aren't going in the tank. I made a few calls and have a few people interested so i may not have to wait til friday to get rid of them

they should be fine in that "drum" for 3 days provided they have O2, its dechlorinated, you change some of the water each day, and the temp doesnt fluctuate.
If you think the temp will drop a lot, add a heater.

I got a 250w marineland stealth and a whisper 20 air pump on them

They are pretty hardy, just provide enought air bubbles and heat.. Like they said, change the water everyday.

make sure you at least one water change a day
