2 Aquaclear 110 Media Loading Suggestions

I have two Aquaclear 110 filters on my 55 gallon New World Cichlid tank. What are some good combinations for filter media in them. Right now I only have the sponge and biomedia in one, and sponge in the other.

Maybe flter floss? Would you put that before or after the sponge? Maybe some purigen? Remember I have two filters.

I'd pack some filter floss in after the sponge to really polish the water

1 sponge in each and pack it full of bio.

ditch the basket.. pack around the intake with course sponge.. line the bottom with scrubbies and then the sponge on top....

its how ive been running mine since i got them... keeps my 75 spotless (10" gibby, 2 breeding pairs of cons)

Do you you mean to put sponge around the intake tube inside of the tank? I have that on the intakes to prevent sand from getting in the filter.

What are scrubbies?
