Just picked up my new baby a 4-5 incher silver arow, my lfs that i got it at has another one the same size and same breeding. if i go back and get the other one should i worry about aggression between the to of them. they are in a 75 gal tank just to grow them out till they get put into a 240 + gallon tank. Has anyone had any problems with this. or should i buy 2 so i have 3 because i have read that 3 arow won't fight.

I hope you already have that 240+ tank. My aro was in a 75 grow out too and it didnt take him long to outgrow it. He is in my 180 I havent had him a year yet and he is already about 15" long. Taking him to another member one here so he can live his life out in a 300 gallon tank.

Yeah i'm getting it with this years tax return i just haven't decided what size exactly i'm getting. but does anyone have advice for the question i asked?? ps this is not my first arow or monster fish i just never kept them together

I purchased 2 baby silvers. I haven't even noticed any fighting; and one stressed out and died. Save the money and stick with one.

I have a silver that's 27 inches long and a jardini that's 23 inches long in a 125 gallon. I had them in there together since about an inch and a half long. They get along fine. But they eventually killed my 12 inch knife fish. I'm about to get a 265 or 280 but Im thinking bout gettin rid of the arowanas because I don't think I can put anything else in with them. U think I can put them in a bigger tank with more fish?

Yes, aros that size deserve more then a 280g, and certainly not a 125g :(

Yeah i never said anything about a 125 the 75 is just to grow him to about 12 inches and by then i'll have another tank for him. i was actually looking at more like the new marinland 300 gallon all glass thats 36 inches wide.
