Here are my 2 Caribe that actually get along they were raised together from an original shoal. The big one is close to 10 inches the other maybe 8 or 9 inches. Going to upgrade tank later this year right now happy in a 75.

Caribe are supposed to get along, pygos school together.
They look awesome.
However, you will most likely run into trouble having 2. The general rule is 1, 3, or more and never 2. Throw the small tank into the mix and I think it may give you problems.

when adult pygo turn dark like that its breeding time and matting time for them. If you have the right parameter it could possible being mate. Caribe usually silver looking with redish belly. I know other pygo like red belly when it turn dark like that they ready to lay eggs or mate.
Indeed good looking caribe. Just a quick glance i thought it was red belly, but the black spot on the gill tells it all.
