Milky Way Galaxy,
Buying a new tank deciding on a footprint for the stock in the title was thinking about a 4x4 (feet) but any care sheets for atlantics? Doesn't seem alot of info on them

That size won't be good for very long for even pups, these Rays need room to swim, think about something in the 8' round size or an 4x8' aquarium would be ok for some time with the Cali's. I have seen the Atlantics 3' long before (females)

Not much on Atlantics because they are harder to keep for most. Sooooo many places try to sell them as freshwater (which they aren't, reguardless of what people say online to sell them) and toss them into fresh at the store. It's hard to keep them alive and get them switched back over.

If you get one, get one that is eating already, and has been kept in saltwater.

well its going to be 8x8 now. i might not do rays at all now unless i can breed the cali's
I've had California Round Rays coming up on 2 years and I have not seen much of an interest in the male/female courship if you will, the Aquarium Of The Pacific keeps these Rays for their touch pool and has for many years and they told me they have never had pups in captivity. That does'nt me it can't happen, just never heard of it. They keep their water at 62 degrees and I keep mine in the low 70s so I dont think it's a water temp problem. I have tried to find information about and found none. If you want to breed Rays you migh want to try the Yellow Spotted Rays, Zoodiver has had them breed at his place of employment.
