Hey guys, so i recently bought a pair of juvanile channa marulius and have them in a 150 gallon tank. Its been about 4 months and one of them is growing really fast and seems to be very comfortable in his home. The other (i am assuming the female) isnt eating as much as the big guy and is growing much slower. Bought them as a breeding pair but i am worried that the big one is almost big enough to swallow the small one now. What should i do?

How big are they?

It's very unlikely you got a pair , even IF they managed to accurately sex young channa(which is unlikely) It's not as simple as just putting a male and female together . If it's a drastic difference in size then ones likely be become dominate and will continue to Outgrow the other until it kills and/or eats the smaller one

Same as I got with my Festaes. One was growing while the other wasn't.
The second I got rid of the biggest because he was a douche, the other one started growing and is twice the size the other used to be, and much nicer!

I'm surprised the small one is still alive given what you told us. :o
