2 dead endlis. Why?

I get around
I got these fish about 1 month ago I had 2 endlis and 2 laps in this tank as a quarantine. Everything has been fine until I came home to find both endlis dead but the laps fine. I went over the fish and the endlis were covered in what appears to be fish lice and had white gills. The laps appear fine with only one fish lice found between the two of them. Don't have a answer for u but u need to treat those laps ASAP bro

Where did you find them dead? Floating at the top belly up?
 
Any changes in tank? added decor, tank mates etc..,?
 
Nothing at all. Everything has stayed the same. 2 firemouths were in the tank but no lice on them and not symptomatic of anything.
 
Don't feed shrimp. I have a feeling it's thiaminase content is enough to kill bichirs when their diet is high in shrimp.
