2 Dead Fronts and 1 with same symptoms.

I have had 2 of my year and a half old fronts die within maybe 2 to 3 months of eachother and now I have another looking the same. They look like they swollowed a bunch of rocks. Bellys are huge and very labored breathing. Any ideas and or suggestions?

Are you feeding floating pellets?

if they suck air in they tend to get bloated
i would have eggcrate about 1'' under the waterline so the front dont breath in the air and get ''bloat''

I think they are referring to a different kind of bloat. It has to do with diet of too much meaty protein.

No I am feeding my fronts sinking pellets... They are shrimp pellets and a little bit of spirulina pellets. Also some color bits and occasionaly some bloodworms.
