Anybody here using Eheim sub filters for their canister filter?
I'm curious if its possible to connect 2 subfilters to a main canister ?
or will this affect the flow rate too much?

I am not that familiar with these, but it seems to me that taking a canister that has a pump designed for that canister alone, and then hooking up two more canisters to the same pump is asking for trouble. Is there any way you can hook the sub filters up separately using their own pump?

oh those sub filters dont have a pump, just the container. they are designed to be hooked up to a main canister filter with pump, but I'm wondering if 2 can be hooked up instead of just 1 :D

Yeah, I understand that. I think that putting two of them inline with canister will be too much strain on the pump inside the canister. It will probably greatly reduce the flow rate and shorten the pump's lifespan. I'm sure that you could hook the sub filters up using a separate pump though. Then, the canister will run by itself and the sub filters will run completely separate with their own pump that you will have to purchase. In my opinion, that is the best and most effective way to do it.
