2 Filters?

I have a 20g tank with 2 gouramis and 7 tiger barbs. The tank came with a 20g filter and i had orderes a 30g filter. I guess the question is should i use both? Thanks.

Imo no but I would use the 30gal filter instead of the 20

I'm a fan of over filtering, so I'd say yes, use em' both.

I use 2 AC30's on my 20 gal so two won't hurt.

Might as well use both, HOB filter don't use much electricity anyways. If its too much flow for the fish you can always stick a filter sponge in the output to break up the flow some.

Using two filters you can alternate the cleaning so you don't loose all the Bacteria for filtration in the filter after cleaning.

agree. I use 5 canisters on my mbuna tank lol. I like to over filter and out definitely helps in most situations
