yes and no i had a 17" one with a 12" one and they were fine but is has to do with what tank size u have...
sometime sit works, sometimes it doesn't. usually it doesn't after they hit about 16" or 1 yr old.
Fire eels get along with fish that don't fit in their mouth but they can't stand another fire eel. The only time two fire eels will be together is when they are young.
