2 Fluval 404s OR FX5 ?

I currently have 100 gallon running on 2 whisper 60s and 1 fluval 404. If you were me what would you do? Add 1 more fluval 404 or buy an fx5 running with the 2 whisper 60s?

Get the fx5 and leave the 404 on there. Can't go wrong with that much filtration.

the thing is if i get the fx5 im going to put the 404 in my 40 gallon running with 2 AC50s

I run a fx5 on my 75 with one electric catfish. It does a great job. I would say that would be great as long as you are not way over stocked. What fish do you have in the tank?

In my 100 gallon i have

1- 7'' Oscar
5- 3" severums

Fx5 should be the finishing touch to your filtration. Unless you feel like building a sump along the way haha.

hated the 404's, 304's, 204's, never tried an fx5 since my experience with fluvals in the past has stopped me from buying any in the future, but I have heard great things about the fx5, so I would go with that one.
