i have a 6 foot 135 gallon tank

i also got foot long paroon sharks...

new to fish so ...thoughts suggestions....

can i keep any fish with the parron sharks that they wont eat...

i have (had)

2 4'' inch bala sharks...one got eaten already
2 4"" blue sharks
2 8'' algae eaters
1 4 inch parrot fish

didint think my bala sharks would get eaten...we feed the paroon sharks gold fish...

but one did last night...they were fine for the first few days...

now im worried about the others...

thoughts suggestsions...how long will the paroon sharks be ok in my size tank, and what fish can i put in with them ???

they should be upgraded NOW, at 2' thats huge for such a thin tank. tank mates would need to be too large to get eaten, but that's hard to do when you've got a potentially 8' + long fish.

stop using goldfish.
Just don't feed for a few days, and try some shrimp.
They'll be somewhat less predatory and agressive this way. Thats not to say they won't eat other fish though.

paroons are monster size and should reach 4 to 6 feet.......... should grow pretty fast.

i would say you are already in deep trouble......:(

Agreed x100! You have a fish that will potentially get larger itself than the tank it's in! If it will fit in it's mouth, it can eat it. Period. Anything else is simply a risk. But again, your first issue is getting that paroon to a tank many times larger than what it's in.

Get rid of the sharks. Unless you can build a pond to fit them, they need to go. And feeding goldfish is not good; other foods are healthier and safer.

yea its TWO paroon sharks...

they are each a foot long give or take a little....

UPDATE....they ate one of my blue sharks....

funny thing is i bought the tank with the sharks and the owner never really warned me much.... first real fish tank ive ever had.....hmmmm
