I was at petco the other day and somebody wanted to get rid of two arowanas. They were 7 and 9 inches long one is black and one silver. So I told the guy I will take them, before he had the chance to hand them over to the petco worker. I was goings to get them a twenty long but with petcos dollar a gallon sale I sprung for the 40 breeder.

I am real excited for this tank I was thinking of getting a stingray, cafish or 6 clown loaches to diversify the tank a little. I pu5 some elodea in the tank for some extra filtration I have a couple questions for my new MONSTER tank.

Wil the elodea prevent drop eyeand block enough light so the arowanas and future stingray other bottom dwellerer is happy? What bottom dweller will you recommend.

I'm thinking troll seeing how you think a 40breeder is sufficient enough for 2 arowanas and a ray and seeing how petco doesn't take in trades

If u want ill buy them off u i have 3 silvers ranging from 7-10 inches in a 200 gallon tank only them 3 alone ill buy the silver and black off u if u want to sell

Petco didn't take them I did. I read if I keep the temp low they will grow slower so they can live in the 40. Plus it has a large footprint. My filtration is a hang on back filter rated for 55 gallons, a sponge filter and elodea. The stingray I want is a tea cup..
